How do I choose the crystals for the bracelets that may support us as we prepare for and journey through 2027? Well, first I find myself a quiet place to sit and take a few deep centering breaths. I close my eyes and invite my body to settle into stillness. I allow my mind to soften and quiet while becoming aware of any physical sensations. I notice what emotions are present and allow space for all to be as it is. This is how I center and become fully present so that I may open and listen. Next, I feel my energetic roots growing out of my tailbone and reaching deep, deep down into the earth. This feels luscious and symbiotic. Finally, I ask Mother Earth which of her gifts will best support us on our 2027 journey. I wait, and eventually a few crystals begin to gently swirl around in my mind. There are so many amazing crystals that we could benefit from, but I would like to choose two.

I go to my laptop and watch a recording by Emma Kupu Mitchell, (astrologer and numerologist extraordinaire), of a presentation that she did on the Energies of 2027. Listening to Emma gives me some great insights into what we might expect energetically in 2027 and helps me to know which two crystals are speaking to me the loudest. And they happen to be two of my favorites - Apatite and Labradorite!

In Emma’s presentation she spoke about the numerology for 2027 which is 11/2. She explained that to find the numerology for a year you add up each digit individually. So, 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 11 which then reduces to 1 + 1 = 2. Therefore, 2027 is 11/2. Emma told us that 11 is a master number and represents heightened awareness, intuition, spiritual insight, illumination, awakening, and expanded consciousness. And that 11/2 is about the relationship between inspiration (11) and cooperation (2). She told us that 2027 would be about listening to our own innate wisdom and divine guidance and deepening our higher consciousness while sharing it with others in a new and collaborative way. Cue Apatite and Labradorite!

Apatite enhances intuitive perception, psychic vision and expanded awareness and helps us to articulate these clearly to others. It helps us to align our personal will with a group’s higher purpose making it a beautiful stone for collaboration. Apatite strengthens the subtle energetic network that connects all levels of beings. It is a stone of shared insight and collaborative creation that helps groups speak clearly and align their intentions with the Whole.

Like Apatite, Labradorite enhances our inner vision. It especially helps us to perceive the subtle layers of reality that sit just beyond ordinary awareness. It’s “flash” of iridescence is symbolic of revelation. Labradorite helps us to translate our intuitive downloads into words, offerings, art, or ritual allowing us to share our awakened consciousness in a way that is grounded, protected, and co-creative.

I want to also mention that Emma told us there would be 5 eclipses in 2027 which is a significant amount. She explained that eclipses are symbolic turning points, opportunities for awareness, and invitations to release old patterns. They are portals of change. Apatite and Labradorite will definitely be supportive during an eclipse. Especially Labradorite which aids in spiritual transformation by helping us to shed old patterns and step into an expanded identity.
