GENTLE/BEGINNER YOGA Students are guided on a path of self-awareness through breath, posture and deep relaxation

PILATES/YOGA:This class offers a balance of Pilates and Yoga. Includes mat work sequences developed by Joseph Pilates focusing on strengthening core muscles (abs, mid/low back, hips, buttocks) and increasing body awareness by connecting breath and visualization to fluid movement. Yoga postures for strength and flexibility complement this practice.

PRIVATE RESTORATIVE YOGA & REIKI: One on one session with me.  I will both guide you into restorative postures and offer reiki.  Please see Reiki page for description and feel free to email me with any questions or to schedule.  See Restorative Yoga Description below.

RESTORATIVE YOGA & REIKI WORKSHOPS:In this workshop Nancy Spencer will assist you into comfortable yoga postures using blankets and bolsters to support every part of your body. She will guide you to bring a gentle attention to your breath as you drift into stillness. Mary Ellen Alberti will offer Reiki healing. Thoughts will quiet and tension will soften as Life Force Energy is directed into the body deepening relaxation and aiding in the release of any holding of negative energy.  Held at Valley Yoga and Movement in Waitsfield.

SUMMER OUTDOOR YOGA AND BRUNCH:with Mary Ellen Alberti or Lucy D’Aponte
Breathe in the Universe and move with the mountains! Join us for meditation, breath work, yoga postures and relaxation. Afterwards, enjoy a fresh, healthy, delicious summer brunch in the Hostel Tevere Restaurant. Yoga will be from 8:30 - 9:45 am on the lawn above the pool at Powderhound (located behind Hostel Tevere, Rt.100, Warren). Brunch will immediately follow on the restaurant deck. $22 includes yoga and brunch!

YOGA FOR STRENGTH AND SERENITY:  Class begins with inspiring meditation & breathwork. Students are then guided to connect breath with movement as they are led through postures focusing on strength, alignment and serenity. Class ends with restorative pose and relaxation. Open to all levels.
